Discover what we do

Wilderness Survival

What’s the first thing you think of when you hear the word scout? What about leaving normal civilization behind, walking away with limited gear and sleeping out under the stars? Now doesn’t that sound fun! And lucky for you, that’s precisely what we do on our Wilderness Survival Trips/Expeditions.

Using the most basic of gear, working with all the previously gained knowledge of knots and lashes, and leaving comfort behind, these events truly bring the scouting experience to it’s best.

Snowshoe Hiking

Imagine a snow covered mountain, a snow hut hidden 2 meters deep in snow and now imagine hiking and overnighting there. This is just one of our yearly activities which we participate in. During our stay there we do Scout related activities, merit badges or even have a snowball fight.

Inter-camps from Austria to the Netherlands

Intercamp is a Scout camp that is held once every year. Each time it is planned by a different nation which works together with the Intercamp Committee to create a fun event that connects Scouts.

Recent hosts include: Warendorf (Germany), Sint-Truiden (Belgium), De Steeg (Netherlands).

Attendants of this event are all types of scouting groups across Europe who add up to around 2000 to 3000 scouts in one weekend. It takes place every year from Friday evening to Monday in the Whitsun Holiday (Pfingst-Ferien).

Join the Order of the Arrow

So you’ve now spent some time scouting, may it have been in Troop 21 or elsewhere, and everything seems to be finding a rhythm, maybe even getting boring! (If that's even possible) But you’ve heard of a secret society of scouting, something referred to as the Order of the Arrow….

But alas, secret it is, and so I cannot say more! But there is a chance! Your peers have the power to vote you in - If they see you fit of course. If that has sparked your interest, you might as well ask around, and maybe you will find it is not as secretive as it first seems…

With that said - Wimachtendienk Wingolauchsik Witahemui
